• Has “F” inside a “C” manufacturers stamp.
• GM sticker is on the back side.
• Has been in storage a long long time.
• Plating has oxidized.
• A small patch of light rust on the back side.
• Never mounted.
• Original PN for this was 3749527 which was removed from the parts manual in 1957 & changed to part 3754504.
• GM parts manual also says to use part (female catch) after car serial # 5060.
• The differences are the depression where the male latch pin mounts is deeper than later cars,
• And, the male pin is a small diameter than the pin for later cars.
