Description
- Removed from a late July build date 63 Corvette.
- If you have a 63 built prior to July 31, 1963, then your buckets were fiberglass and not pot-metal.
- These are correct for Corvette’s built prior to this date.
- We know as these were taken off a 1963 with a July 31, 1963 build date.
- Probably, one of the last cars built in 1963 with fiberglass buckets.
- These look “different” because a previous owner decided to BONDO over the headlight buckets and move the headlights to the grille area.
- n order to get the buckets out intact, they were cut out of the front clip
- Everything is there; all the fiberglass parts of the buckets.
- NO tabs are broke or bent.
- Includes some of the headlight mount brackets, and the header mount braces too.
- It was all cut it out so as to not damage the fiberglass buckets.
- The right side bucket will need to have the outer fiberglass panel re-glued to the bucket.
- It’s not broke; it just came loose from the bucket when I removed it.
- About 1/16″ or so of Bondo will need to be sanded off
- it was that bad of a repair.
- These are real, and very nice (although the pictures don’t show that)
