This is the correct “punched-dot pattern” and has scratches. A previous owner put a funky clear plastic laminate over it that actually protected the metal. The “dark” areas is the residual glue that has aged. There are spots here that are not film or glue residue that we cleaned and the metal is nice. A couple of the mount holes are wallowed out. Good for a driver or survivor car but will never be good for a show quality piece.
