These rivet to the Rear Bow Link Arm and then rivet to the top compartment bow. These are Items 6 and 7 in the sketch.

For 53-54 early cars as the arm is straight versus having the hump as late 54-55 cars did.
This arm goes from mount braket (with the serration) to the rear bow
- the 2 short arms (scissor arms) rivet to this.
Rivets were ground off these.
This also removed a very small amount of base metal (1-2 mils)
- nothing that will prevent use of these.
Has original paint that is scratched.
Also has (1) 1/8 inch long nick in the metal from the removal process.
These are item 5 in the sketch of the soft top frame.

Packages were torn and humidity caused some light rust.
We opened the packages and cleaned the rust off (may still be some light rust in the holes).
The rust did not pit the metal.
The finish now has a “mottled” appearance.
You will receive this in the opened GM package.
Replacement for 68-69L cars which had a 2 hole link
