GM 350 Crate Motor,

Bought in 1998 from GM dealership and installed in car
Driven locally only for 2 years when car was parked for 10 years
Motor was removed and stored when the correct motor was put in the car
been in our garage ever since.

This has been inspected by a machine shop.

It passed the pressure test.
All cylinders have been bored 0.060 over
Cylinders will need to be sleeved.
Date code is B16
It is a 4 bolt
It is bare and does not come with heads, crankshaft, etc. Purely, a bare block

Engine Oil Pan, Original

This is a 22 bolt pan
The drain plug on the bottom front of the deep end.
It has 3 ribs on one side and 2 ribs on the other side.
These is 1 rib on the bottom of the shallow end.
No damage except paint scratches and light rust.

Engine Oil Pan, Original

Has 2 ribs on each side on the deep end.
Drain Plug, with an “A” in side a circle headmark, is on the bottom side on the deep end.
Bottom of deep end has a slight depression.
Has 1 small dent on the center step down area.
Measures 2-1/4″ on the front end down to the center of the radius seal area.
Service replacements have a 2-1/2″ measurement in this area.

We got this from a Corvette only repair shop. Owner of the shop wrote a name and “61” on the side of the pan. So, based on that, we believe this is an original oil pan off a 1961 Corvette. That would mean this pan will also fit 57-62 Corvette. However, ask more questions if you need to to make sure, this is the right oil pan for you.

Has 3 ribs on each side on the deep end.
Drain hole is on the front bottom of the deep end.
Bottom of deep end is pushed end.
Measures 2-1/4″ on the front end down to the center of the radius seal area.
Service replacements have a 2-1/2″ measuremnt in this area.

(13) Engine Rocker Arm Valve Stem Balls, New. Valve stem balls are 13/16″ in diameter and are GM 3959142. Fits 305 & 350 motors
(8) Engine Rocker Arm Valve Stem Nuts, New. These are “gold” colored 3/8-24 nuts and are GM # 3744341
(10) Engine Rocker Arm Valve Stem Nuts, New. Cad plated 3/8-24 valve stem nuts and are GM # 3744341.
