Seat Belt, Irvin Black original female end only.

Correct 3 panel style wedding with the outer 2 panels being the same width & the inner panel being twice as wide as the outer panels.
Color has faded significantly & Irvin Air Chute tag is gone.
Has correct white stitching for the tag on the tag side, & correct tag black stitching the opposite side.
Base mount plate chrome has a 1″ x 5/8″ spot of pitting on one side.
On the other side where the model stamping # is (ID.5000.7517), the chrome is good.
Buckle chrome is very nice.
Release lever is unpainted.
On the back side is stamped:
- Irvin Air Chute Co, Inc.
- Model IC-8000
- the Mfg. License and patent #.
Inside the release lever, stamped on the chrome is: ID 8000.1 10.
The underside of the release lever is stamped: 8000.12

Female End only.
Black with 2 equal-width webbing bands and a band twice the width in the center.
Webbing has some fraying up near the buckle.
No label on the webbing.
Buckle is corroded shut and does not operate.
Mount plate to the floor and buckle also have rust & pitting.

2 Male Ends & 1 female buckle end.
Webbing is 4 bands
Webbing is in excellent condition with no cuts, tears or fraying.
One has the “Irvin Air Chute” label with:
- Irvin AIR CHUTE
- LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY
- MODEL ID 57-198-1
- FEDERAL SPEC JJ-8-185
Other 2 belts do not have a label.
Impressions from the hambone & tightener are very light.
Webbing is very dirty on one belt
The other 2 belts have some dirt spots.
One male buckle is heavily pitted
The other male buckle has a quarter size area of light pitting.
Per our reference material, this is for 62 Corvette from approx. VIN # 2000 to VIN 11,000.

General info:

Material is 3 equal width panels.
Material is dirty.
Tags have:
- Chevrolet, Model 771 COR-C,
- Federal Spec. JJ-8-185-A, SAE STD.
- J-4, Irvin Air Chute , inc., Lexington, KY.
Each belt has a some small areas where the material is frayed.
Anchor plates have no stampings and, no pits.
Both female latches are stamped Irvin Air chute Company, Inc., model IC-5000, MFG. license *S Pat. 2458810
Inside the lift levers is stamped 1D-5000-1-20.
Belt 1 (Complete latch).
- Has both Irvin Tags.
- Chrome on the male end has light rust and light pitting.
- Female end chrome is nice.
- Lift lever does not fully open or close.
Belt 2 (with broken lever).
- Lever is also frozen up.
- Chrome has some areas of flaking off and pitting.
- Male end does not have the Irvin tag.
- Female end Irvin tag is torn and tattered.
These are the late version for 1963 based on the webbing pattern
