Headlight Bucket Housing, Original.

We’ve not been able to positively identify what this fits so here are the dimensions so you can determine is this right for you.

Housing is stamped Guide H18 & has the bulb cup, adjuster screw brackets, adjuster screws, & retaining spring.
Inside has an area of rust just below the wiring harness grommet
- no pitting.
Outer surface had rust in areas so we cleaned it with a wire wheel brush
- no pitting in these area either.
Wiring harness has 3 cloth wrapped wires inside a rubber outer sheath.
Wires are not cut & the bulb plug is in very good condition.
Bulb cup is very clean & has no damage.
Measurements:
- Housing body is
  - 8-1/4″ OD
  - 7-1/8″ ID
  - 3-1/2″ deep.
- Bulb cup is:
  - 7″ OD
  - 6-1/4″ ID on the upper inside top
  - 1-3/4″ deep

This housing is in excellent condition, if not new. The photos show you this.

Removed from a late July build date 63 Corvette.
If you have a 63 built prior to July 31, 1963, then your buckets were fiberglass and not pot-metal.
These are correct for Corvette’s built prior to this date.
We know as these were taken off a 1963 with a July 31, 1963 build date.
Probably, one of the last cars built in 1963 with fiberglass buckets.
These look “different” because a previous owner decided to BONDO over the headlight buckets and move the headlights to the grille area.
n order to get the buckets out intact, they were cut out of the front clip
Everything is there; all the fiberglass parts of the buckets.
NO tabs are broke or bent.
Includes some of the headlight mount brackets, and the header mount braces too.
It was all cut it out so as to not damage the fiberglass buckets.
The right side bucket will need to have the outer fiberglass panel re-glued to the bucket.
It’s not broke; it just came loose from the bucket when I removed it.
About 1/16″ or so of Bondo will need to be sanded off
- it was that bad of a repair.
These are real, and very nice (although the pictures don’t show that)

Has 3 rods.
Bend starts 2″ up the bolt flange and is angled towards the seat approximately 25 degrees.
Reverse lever, spring, and mechanism are not broken
Chevelle w/Bucket Seats???
