  • Use these to remount the rechromed door back on the ash tray.

    • May work on other models also so here are the measurements

    • Shank diameter is 0.098″
    • Shank length is 0.145″.
    • Rivet head diameter is 0.180.

  • Includes cigarette lighter housing & retainer. GM# 3915674 is molded on the back.
  • GM changed this # to 3977862 for 71-76 models.
  • Chrome is shiny and has a few small blemishes.
  • Mount holes are solid and not wallowed out.
  • On later versions, the outer rim has slots adjacent to the 2 mount tabs on the thin end.
  • So, this is correct for 68 -70.

    Ash Tray

    • Original with cigarette snuffer and no holder.
    • Has AAC stamped on the side and has the correct retaining clip.
    • Had some rust on the inside which created some pitting.
    • Metal is still solid.
    • Chrome is shiny on the top visible surface.
    • It is flaking off on the outer non-visible surfaces.
    • Bottom has numerous dents.
    • This is not a show quality ash tray.

    Ash Tray Housing

    • This is an original Ash Tray Housing with 3977862 molded on the back.Includes door and sliders.
    • Chrome is good with a few small blemishes.
    • Mount holes are solid and not wallowed out.
    • Ash tray door is solid with no damage; will need a good cleaning and some new paint also to be good.
    • Ash Tray Door Sliders are an original pair in good condition with no cracks or breaks.
