  • Seat back.
    • Has original GM tag mounted on 1 of the rods with GM Part #3751360 on it. So, these are true 58 Seats.
    • Frame metal has light rust; no pitting.
    • All metal is very solid.
    • Vinyl has 2 tears; (1) 1-1/4″ long tear in the center, & (1) 1-9/16″ long tear in the top center section of the back.
  • Seat Bottom.
    • All metal has some light rust & we do not see any pitting.
    • Burlap on the large springs is mostly rotted as is the cloth on the small springs.
    • Exposed springs too have rust but no pitting we can see.
    • Vinyl has 2 splits in the center & 1 on the outer edge.
    • There is a ripped area on the tunnel side near the bottom.
  • Overall, this is a very nice, original, 58 seat back & bottom.
  • Per the 1958 GM Parts manual, this is a one year only number.
  • Later years of the GM Parts manuals show this back to be GM Part #3746018 & that this number fits 56-58.
