  • Has been cleaned to bare metal.
  • Hole that the male pin goes through has some distortion.
  • This should straighten out once the male pin is installed and tightened down.
  • Also includes the original stop screw and rubber bumper.
  • Rubber bumper has the GM part # 4137121 molded in it on the bottom.

    • This # was changed in the GM parts manual on 1/1/1956 to 3716781 (the infamous “dimple” bumper?). This is the number also shown in the 56-57 AIM Section 11, page 6.00. So, this is likely a 53-55 latch and bumper
