  • In excellent condition.
  • Casting in the aluminum is T10-1C, W.G. DIV; M (in a circle) 13 (in a circle) 61 (in a circle).
  • This translates to December 13, 1961
  • The assembly date stamped on the case is WA42-2 which translates to January 2, 1962, 2nd shift.
  • So, the cast and assembly dates are correct for a mid to late production (June of 1962) 62 Corvette
  • There are no weld repairs to this case as you see with many cases these days.
  • The only thing we see with this case is a dozen or so small “pits” from the casting process on the bottom side next to the drain plug.
  • Otherwise, a solid and very, very nice case.
