Dash Small Gauge Housing Lens Window Plate, Original.

This is the carbon steel plate that goes behind the stainless plate that says “Battery Oil” or Fuel Temp”.
This fits both the Battery/Oil cluster or the Fuel/Temperature gauge cluster.
Metal is solid with no damage.
Paint is scratched off so a fresh coat of paint would make these look new.
Sale price is for one of the plates in the photo.
You will receive one of these plates.

Overall, this is a very nice set of gauges.
Gauge metal housing itself is in very good solid condition as is the bezel retainer.
The bezel chrome, is also very nice with only some small scratches you need to be up close to see.
“RED” lettering on both gauges is still bright.
Lenses have some very light scratches also.
Oil gauge has the correct green lettering.
Battery gauge lettering has faded.
Needle is the correct green color for a 61-62.
Lettering on both gauges is crisp & clear except for the faded color on the battery gauge.
Needle on the battery gauge is light green with a narrow point.
Needle on oil gauge is also light green but has a “wide” point.
Ready to install for a driver or survivor car but should be restored to be show quality.

Temp gauge lettering is white but the needle is the correct green.
Lettering on both gauges is crisp & clear.
Needle on both gauges is light green with a narrow point.
Even has 1/2 of the original red warning tag.
Housing is VERY nice; chrome has no blemishes.
This is a nice gauge unit, un-touched, original quality

Overall, this is an extremely nice set of gauges.
Gauge metal housing itself is very nice, and solid, as is the bezel retainer.
The bezel chrome, is also very nice with only some VERY light scratches you need to be up close (~6″) to see.
The “RED” lettering on both gauges is still bright.
The lenses are not scratched.
Both gauges have the correct WHITE lettering as do the needles.
The white on the lettering on both gauges and the needles, are crisp and clear.
Both needles have the narrow point.
Ready to install for a driver or survivor car; maybe even show quality but, you be the judge of that.
