Headlight Bucket Assemblies, Original Fiberglass

Removed from a late July build date 63 Corvette.
If you have a 63 built prior to July 31, 1963, then your buckets were fiberglass and not pot-metal.
These are correct for Corvette’s built prior to this date.
We know as these were taken off a 1963 with a July 31, 1963 build date.
Probably, one of the last cars built in 1963 with fiberglass buckets.
These look “different” because a previous owner decided to BONDO over the headlight buckets and move the headlights to the grille area.
n order to get the buckets out intact, they were cut out of the front clip
Everything is there; all the fiberglass parts of the buckets.
NO tabs are broke or bent.
Includes some of the headlight mount brackets, and the header mount braces too.
It was all cut it out so as to not damage the fiberglass buckets.
The right side bucket will need to have the outer fiberglass panel re-glued to the bucket.
It’s not broke; it just came loose from the bucket when I removed it.
About 1/16″ or so of Bondo will need to be sanded off
- it was that bad of a repair.
These are real, and very nice (although the pictures don’t show that)

Headlight Bulb Cup with Rings, LH Inner & RH Outer pair

Headlight Bulb Cup, Stamped R2, Used RH Outer
- Round hole in back with open slots on outer rim
- Has 2 mount tabs for retaining ring
- non-painted.
Headlight Bulb Cup, Stamped L1, LH Inner
- Round hole in back with closed slots on outer rim
- 2 mount tabs for retaining ring
- Non-painted.
- Back side has an “orange peel” appearance from rust.
Retaining Rings
- These are 5-3/4″ OD
- They have 2 mount tabs and (1) hole for the retaining spring hook
- One has a 1/2″ long dent in the outer rim at 1 of the mount tabs
- The other ring has (1) 1/4″ long indentions on the front face near the hole for the spring
- Also, outer rim has (2) 1/8″ to 3/8″ indentions between one mount tab hole and the spring hole.
- Original 8-32 x 3/8″ pan slotted head screws are included.

Headlight Bucket Bezel, RH Original

Painted yellow.
Had some light areas of rust & loose paint that has been cleaned off.
Has no pits, bends, or dents.
On the lower right edge there is a 3/8″ x 3/16″ piece of metal missing.
